Jewels by Jules Jewelry
I love bracelets and I love to weave so I developed this new line of woven wire bracelets. My woven wire bracelets are made with sterling silver wire and copper wire, some are cuffs while others are bracelets, and some have focal beads while others are all metal.
Another love of mine are rings - I am a ring junkie! Once I designed woven wire bracelets, I had to, of course, design woven wire rings!

Book Release: - Jewels By Jules is very excited to announce the release of Wire Style 50 Unique Jewelry Designs. Denise Peck, Editor of Step By Step Wire Jewelry, invited Jodi and six other designers to participate in the collaboration of the book which gives the book a great versatility in style and ideas and with projects ranging from beginner to advanced, there is something for everyone! The book starts out with a large section describing wire, tools, and techniques. The techniques section includes not only step by step instructions for making loops, wrapped loops and many more techniques but also includes step by step pictures for the techniques.
Each project has step by step instructions with photos of the finished jewelry. Also, listed in the back of the book is a list of suppliers along with pictures and bios of all contributing artists. Your copy of the book can be ordered at Amazon or can most likely be picked up at your local bookstore - Jodi saw early release copies at Barnes & Noble.
Newly Added Items - Jewels By Jules has recently added several new items including leather cord bracelets, wire wrapped bracelets and leather cord necklaces. Also added were additional colors of Greek leather cords. In addition to black Greek leather cord, we now have brick red, off white, chocolate brown and tan suede - something for everyone!
Jodi, was invited to be a teacher at Jewelry Lessons by Eni Oken & Friends. After nearly one year in the making, Jodi is pleased to announce the site's official opening. On the site you will find free and low cost tutorials written by Jodi along with other teachers, tips, questions/answers, and a gallery of work posted by beginners to advanced designers along with other very useful information for all levels of designers. Wire Wrapping Tutorials and Helpful Hints
On our blog, you will find wire wrapping tutorials, articles, helpful hints, and announcements. Some tutorials are free and some are offered at a low cost and all of the helpful hints are free. The free and low cost tutorials are in Adobe (PDF) format. If you do not have Adobe on your computer, there is a link to download this software at no charge on the tutorial pages. The Crocheting with Sterling Silver Wire article is a great starting place for someone new to crocheting with wire and includes information regarding threads and wire, crochet hooks, and what to do if your wire breaks. The Understanding Sterling Silver Wire article is loaded with helpful information for the beginning and intermediate wire wrapper. Topics include wire gauges, Argentium properties versus sterling silver wire properties, safety issues, and cleaning tips.
Jewels by Jules in Step by Step Wire Magazine
Jewels By Jules has been published several times in Step By Step Wire Magazine. On page 49 of the Fall 2006 edition you will find our Geometric Bracelet. We love the color layout and design that Step by Step chose - it looks great! On page 25 of the Winter 2007 issue is our Wire Crochet Pearl Bracelet. If old issues are not available, tutorials are on our blog, Wire Wrapping Tutorials and Helpful Hints.
Jules has also been published in the Spring and Summer 2007 issues. On page 26 of the Spring issue, is the Wire Wrapped Peruvian Opal Bracelet. This is a beginner's project and will soon be a low cost tutorial on our blog. In the Summer 2007 issue on page 32, is the Spiral Hook & Leather Ends tutorial. This is a free tutorial on our blog and is titled How to Wire Wrap Leather Ends.
Step By Step Wire magazine is a great magazine for beginning, intermediate, and advanced wire wrappers. The magazine features tutorial articles by well-known artists as well as the beginner with unique handcrafted jewelry being the focal point of the magazine.

Custom Orders Custom orders are gladly accepted on our jewelry except for closeout jewelry. Contact Jodi with the item number and what material you would like the piece made with. Jodi will email you back and let you know if your request can be met and when the jewelry will be completed. A custom ordered piece of jewelry of any style can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on orders pending at the time your order is received by Jewels By Jules. If you have a particular date you need your order, please indicate the date in your email and Jodi will let you know if your order can be completed at your requested time. A down payment of 50% is due at the time your order is confirmed with the remaining balance due when the watch is completed and ready to be shipped.
