Our handcrafted wire wrapped necklaces and leather cord necklaces are made with Argentium silver (non-tarnishing silver - see note below regarding Argentium silver) or sterling silver wire. We also use freshwater pearls, Bali silver, and Swarovski crystal along with other high quality materials including vintage German beads and Czech beads. All of our handcrafted wire wrapped necklaces and leather cord necklaces have their own detailed individual description of products used when being made. Leather Cord Necklaces

This is one of our favorite lines that we carry - leather cord necklaces. The leather cord necklace is a "build your own" necklace. Pick out the width and length of your leather - your leather comes with a sterling silver hook and eye - and then pick out your charms and pendants to be added to your leather! Pick from wire wrapped pendants of chrysocolla and boulder opal and charms - everything from sterling silver suns to freshwater pearls to Tibetan drops. Wear one, wear two, wear three at a time - mix and match for your own unique look with our leather cord necklaces or give a leather cord necklace as a gift. In addition to this fun line of leather cord necklaces, there is a second interchangeable leather cord necklaces line in the works. This line will have sterling silver wire wrapped pieces with each end hooking onto finished ends of the leather cord. With this idea, there will be no toggle as your wire wrapped piece, which is also your centerpiece, becomes your toggle. We take great pride in our workmanship and offer only quality handmade handcrafted wire wrapped necklaces. If you see a style that you love but want a different stone, no problem! Order a matching set! Wire wrapped bracelets and/or earrings can be made to match handcrafted wire wrapped necklaces. If you would like to order matching pieces for your necklace, please contact Jodi with the necklace item number. In your email, you will also need to include the length of your wire wrapped bracelet, if you are ordering a bracelet. If you need help in determining what length bracelet you need, please indicate that in your email. Jodi will email you back with instructions for measuring your wrist. Shipping All orders are shipped insured. The cost of insurance is included in your shipping fee. Express and international shipping is available at buyer's request and expense with international shipping to Canada only. - see Policy

Custom Orders Custom orders are gladly accepted on all of our handcrafted wire wrapped necklaces and leather cord necklaces. Contact Jodi with the necklace item number and what material you would like the piece made with. Jodi will email you back and let you know if your request can be met and when the necklace will be completed. Custom ordered wire wrapped necklaces or leather cord necklaces of any style can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on orders pending at the time your order is placed. If you have a particular date you need your order, please indicate the date in your email and Jodi will let you know if your order can be completed at your requested time. A down payment of 50% is due at the time your order is confirmed with the remaining balance due when the necklace is completed and ready to be shipped.

Note Regarding Argentium Silver Argentium silver contains 92.5% silver, the same as sterling silver. The difference between the two types of silver wire is the copper. Sterling silver is made with 7.5% copper. Argentium has replaced copper with germanium. Copper is the tarnishing factor in sterling silver so with this eliminated, the inventors of Argentium have created a virtually tarnish free silver. As our supply of sterling silver wire is being used up, it is being replaced by Argentium.
