This tutorial teaches the basics of forging to make this adjustable ring. Learn how to gradually forge and file the ring, twist the metal, and then shape your ring. If you have always wanted to learn how to forge, this is a great little ring to get you started!
Materials:
- 6" 12-gauge fine silver (If you have never forged, I recommend practicing with 12-gauge copper wire.)

- Anvil or metal block

- Goldsmith's hammer
- Ring mandrel
- Round nose pliers

- 2 parallel pliers or 2 chain nose pliers

Multistrand Crocheted Bracelet

Ever want to learn how to crochet with beads? Well, now is your chance! Learn to make a 7-strand bracelet in these step-by-step instructions. This bracelet is easy and quick to make. Make bracelets without beads or with many more strands - I have a 19-strand bracelet! Once this technique is learned, it can also be used to crochet necklaces.
BASIC CROCHETING SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS TUTORIAL: CHAIN STITCH AND SINGLE CROCHET STITCH
Materials:
- Spool of 28-gauge dead soft wire
- Approximately 175 beads, 4 mm
- Two 8 or 10 mm end caps or cones
- 1’ 20 gauge half hard wire
- Toggle
- 2 16 gauge jump rings (optional)
- Scrap craft wire (this is used to mark spots on the bracelet while crocheting)

- 4 mm Swarovski aurora borealis crystal
- 4 mm Czech cathedral
- 4 mm silver plated balls

Make this freeform cuff with or without a focal bead. With the outlined technique taught with this tutorial, endless color combinations can be made to create unique one-of-a-kind cuffs. I love sterling silver jewelry but I must admit that the garnet wire wrapped cuff is one of my favorites!

- 7 1/2" inches 12-gauge dead soft wire (14-gauge can also be used)
- 3 feet 20-gauge dead soft wire
- 10-12 feet 26-gauge dead soft wire
- 1 cm sterling silver butterfly (focal bead)
- 30-35 4 mm Swarovski crystal
- 25-30 4 mm sterling silver balls
- 15-20 3 mm Bali rectangles
- 50-55 2 mm sterling silver balls
- 55-60 Bali silver daisy spacers

This beautiful organic cuff can be made with a variety of beads and color combinations. Make your cuff thin or wide or mix things up and use colored craft wire. Final cuff measurement in this tutorial is 6 inches long x 3/4 inches wide.
