Wire Wrapped WatchAll of our watches are wire wrapped either with Argentium silver (non-tarnishing wire - see note below regarding Argentium silver) or sterling silver wire to make these a fun handcrafted beaded bracelet watch. We also use freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, Bali silver, and Swarovski crystal. Cuff WatchWhen you think of a cuff bracelet, you think of a formed bracelet with an opening to the back of the bracelet but our cuff watch have a toggle for a secure fit. Our cuff watch is a BeJuled™ watch. This is a technique developed by Jodi and also includes bracelets and toggles. The BeJuled™ cuff watch is made with a heavy gauge sterling silver wire which gives them a formed shape just like a cuff bracelet would. We use Legacy watch faces for our wire wrapped watch, charm watch, and cuff watch. These are good quality watch faces and the watch batteries come with a one-year warrantee from date of purchase. When the quartz is mined, the primary color is blue but there are also shades of green mixed in with the blue. This charm watch is made with 16 mm (5/8") blue faceted quartz, 1 cm (1/2") freshwater pearls, 4 mm (1/8") aventurine and black onyx, and Bali silver with a sterling silver plated toggle. Jodi will email you back and let you know if your request can be met and when the watch will be completed. A custom ordered wire wrapped watch of any style can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on orders pending at the time. If you have a particular date you need your order. A down payment of 50% is due at the time your order is confirmed with the remaining balance due when the beaded bracelet watch is completed and ready to be shipped. Note Regarding Argentium Silver Argentium silver contains 92.5% silver, the same as sterling silver. The difference between the two types of silver wire is the copper. Sterling silver is made with 7.5% copper. Argentium has replaced copper with germanium. Copper is the tarnishing factor in sterling silver so with this eliminated, the inventors of Argentium have created a virtually tarnish free silver. As our supply of sterling silver wire is being used up, it is being replaced by Argentium. |
