Wire Wrapped Dangle Earrings Our wire wrapped earrings and dangle earrings are made with Argentium silver (non-tarnishing wire – see note below regarding Argentium silver) and/or sterling silver wire. We also use a wide variety of fine quality materials with a complete description of all materials used with each pair of earrings displayed for sale. All of our sterling silver French wire hoops are also handcrafted with some of the wire hoops having matching crystals added to them! Contact Jodi with the earring item number and what material you would like the piece made with. You can also custom order the length of your earrings – make them long or short – whatever you like! Jodi will email you back and let you know if your request can be met and when the earrings will be completed. Custom ordered wire wrapped earrings or dangle earrings of any style can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on orders pending at the time. If you have a particular date you need your order, please indicate the date in your email and Jodi will let you know if your order can be completed at your requested time. A down payment of 50% is due at the time your order is confirmed with the remaining balance due when the earrings is completed and ready to be shipped. Note Regarding Argentium Silver Argentium silver contains 92.5% silver, the same as sterling silver. The difference between the two types of silver wire is the copper. Sterling silver is made with 7.5% copper. Argentium has replaced copper with germanium. Copper is the tarnishing factor in sterling silver so with this eliminated, the inventors of Argentium have created a virtually tarnish free silver. As our supply of sterling silver wire is being used up, it is being replaced by Argentium.
